George + Kinuko

‘George + Kin’s’, is deeply personal to me and my family and bridges my Japanese heritage with my East Coast upbringing. It tells the story of my great aunt and uncle, George and Kinuko, who brought my mom in as a young child and raised her on their farm in Pocatello, Idaho. They were the closest thing to grandparents that my sisters and I ever had.

Service was amazing, fast, very attentive! French toast was absolutely huge and out of this world with flavor!! Burger definitely takes the cake for best burger in Napa! Simple plain burger but it is bursting with flavor. Fluffy pancakes were also amazing. Must try new spot!!! French toast 100/10 so flavorful, fluffy, and REAL maple syrup and fresh butter.

So many good dishes to choose from! Would definitely recommend the cinnamon bun, Benny's benedict, seasonal fresh corn griddle cake with the spicy butter, George's big morning breakfast, the jumbo juicy burger, mom's bolognese, the soft serve sundae with mom's toffee. The cozy diner decorations and the oldies music give the restaurant the perfect unique diner vibes. The team make you feel like you are dining in their kitchen.

So wonderful! All the people that work there are so kind and the food was exactly what we wanted. We had a delicious burger, salad, and baked potato. The interior was also cute and comfortable. Such a great little restaurant slinging out some delicious breakfast food. The hash browns were super delicious along with their pancakes. The French toast comes with 2 enormous slices of toast and was tasty but I could not eat that much of it as it’s fairly dense. Our service was amazing and we had multiple check ups on us with someone being easily available. I’ve added this place to my list of breakfast places and will be returning soon.
